Yu~Chinese character meaning Jade. For thousands of years till now, jade was and is a symbol of love and virtue as well as a status symbol. Chinese people believed jade had supernatural power. Using jade wares and jade ornaments could resist invasion of evil influence and avoid evil apparitions and secure safety and auspiciousness. Today it quite difficult to differentiate whether it genuine or not as technology is so advance. You just have to touch and feel it. Luang Phor Sothorn,  one of the most revered Buddha images in Thailand. The temple Wat Sothorn Wararam Wora Wiham is located in Chachoengsao province, northern Thai.
